Plastic igel ball is a new type random packing which is like a hedgehog, so it's also called hedgehog ring. Plastic igel ball has advantages such as large porosity, low pressure drop and mass transfer unit height, high flooding point, sufficient liquid vapor contact, small specific gravity, high mass transfer efficiency, etc.
Plastic igel ball is usually used via a wet/dry or trickle filter. It can be used to facilitate the growth of beneficial bacteria in pond filters, fish farm, and aquarium and used in hatcheries, tropical fish farms, wastewater treatment and other commercial & industrial fish farm system.
