Ceramic Cross Partition Ring

Ceramic cross partition ring is a packing designed basically from the Raschig Ring with the cross-partitions inside to increase the surface and enhance the transfer efficiency.

Generally, ceramic cross partition ring is required to stack orderly in the column due to its big size. Currently, ceramic cross partition rings, size between Φ80-Φ150mm, are used as the support material of another random packing at the bottom of column, which accumulation voidage is over 60%.

Application

The ceramic cross partition ring is developed based on the idea of increasing the specific surface of the filler to enhance the mass transfer efficiency and it can be used in the drying tower, absorption tower, cooling tower and washing towers in chemical, metallurgy, coal gas, industrial oxygen production industries, etc.
