First-grade BFA Abrasive

Inquire Now

As a professional supplier of abrasives and comprehensive technical services, we bring you our first-grade brown fused alumina (BFA), a premium abrasive engineered for superior performance across diverse industrial applications. Our commitment to quality begins at the core: we own and operate our state-of-the-art smelting furnaces, ensuring unparalleled control over every step of the production process. This integrated approach allows us to deliver an abrasive that truly stands apart.

Key Features

  • Minimal crystallite aggregation
  • Large, well-developed crystal structures
  • Low glassy phase content
  • High toughness and durability
  • Excellent wear resistance

We select only premium-grade BFA blocks from our own smelters, which are then crushed and precision-graded according to customer requirements. The result is a high-purity, chemically stable abrasive material with broad adaptability across conventional bonded and coated abrasive applications.

Available Grades and Applications

  • HG-AB001: Characterized by its sharp, angular shape, low bulk density, and strong self-sharpening properties, HG-AB001 is perfect for creating resin bond thin cutting and grinding discs. Its sharpness and excellent heat dissipation deliver high grinding efficiency, especially on low carbon and alloy steels.
  • HG-AB002: With a polygonal shape and moderate bulk density, HG-AB002 offers a balanced blend of sharpness, durability, and high grinding efficiency. It's ideal for both resin bond and rubber bond abrasive tools, excelling in processing low carbon steel, alloy steel, and various hardwoods.
  • HG-AB003: Featuring cubic, uniform particles, high bulk density, and superior toughness and durability, HG-AB003 ensures excellent balance and uniform stress distribution within bonded abrasive tools. It's the preferred choice for resin bond grinding wheels, widely used in heavy-duty grinding applications involving carbon steel and malleable cast iron.
