Metal super mini ring, also named as metal flat ring, is a kind of short opening ring packing. The height-to-diameter ratio is about 0.2-0.4 and the inner curved arc rib is used to improve the strength of the packing. Compared with Pall ring, the mass transfer effects of it may be increased by 20% or more.
Metal super mini ring has the advantages of thin wall, large void ratio, large flux, small resistance and high separation efficiency. As with these features, it is especially suitable for vacuum distillation tower to treat materials with heat sensitivity, easy decomposition, easy polymerization and easy carbon deposition.
