Maleic Anhydride Modified Polyolefin (Waterborne)

Product Description

This series of products is maleic anhydride modified polyolefin, which is a non-chlorinated water-based polyolefin adhesion promoter. It is designed for low surface energy substrates and to work on surfaces without any surface treatment such as corona or flame. In this series of products, we have developed and produced three types of this product, namely HG-CohesivePro 2010-A, HG-CohesivePro 2010-B and HG-CohesivePro 2010-C. They have completely different features, properties and applications. Please see the product details below to select the product you desired.

*Comments: The properties given here are typical of average lots. Alfa Chemistry does not represent that products in any particular batch will exactly conform to the values given.

Application Methods

  • If used as a primer: Dilute the product in water at 5-10% on a weight basis and then add wetting agent to improve the wettability. Apply the dilution to a clean surface (surface free of dirt, oil, grease, and others) with a spray, brush, roll, or stick, and make sure the surface completely covered.
  • If used as an additive/co-resin: Depending on the purpose of use, the product is added to the system at 5-50% based on a weight basis (please ensure that the product is compatible in the system). Other additives such as wetting aides or defoamer may be required.
