Ceramic Cascade Mini Ring

Ceramic cascade mini ring is a kind of random packing further developed based on the Pall Ring and Raschig Ringa, and it is specifically designed for reducing pressure drop and increasing plant capacity. Due to the additional conical rolled edge, the mechanical strength of the ring is improved, and the ring's symmetry is destroyed. Therefore, accumulation voidage is increased significantly. The resistance to vapor is decreased and flux is increased a lot when vapor-liquid flows through the packing bed. Distribution of vapor-liquid is distributed more evenly and the interface between vapor and liquid is increased so as to improve the mass transfer efficiency.

Application

With low height, thin wall thickness and low pressure drop, ceramic cascade mini rings are widely used in the drying and absorbing columns. They are also alternatively used in cooling and scrubbing towers in the chemical, metallurgy, coal gas and other similar industries.
