Available Grades and Applications

We offer different grades of cast steel grit, each specifically designed for optimal performance in distinct applications:

GP (General Purpose) Steel Grit

• Initially sharp and angular, quickly rounding during use.
• Ideal for descaling and pre-treatment of steel surfaces where a consistent, yet not overly aggressive, cleaning action is required.

GL (Long Life) Steel Grit

• Higher hardness than GP, but still loses its angularity during blasting.
• Also highly effective for descaling and pre-treatment of steel surfaces.

GH (High Hardness) Steel Grit

• Very high hardness, maintaining its angularity throughout the blasting process.
• This grade is engineered for applications demanding a rough, textured, or "fuzzy" surface profile.

Our cast steel grit finds extensive use in various industries for the following processes:

• Cleaning: Shot blasting and sandblasting of die castings, forged parts, castings, steel plates, H-beams, and steel structures to remove impurities and prepare surfaces.
• Rust Removal: Efficiently removes rust and corrosion from castings, forgings, steel plates, H-beams, and steel structures, crucial for surface preparation before painting or coating. This includes specialized processes like secondary sandblasting in sandblasting rooms.
• Strengthening (Peening): It enhances the fatigue life and strength of components through shot peening of heat-treated parts and gears.
• Surface Preparation (Shot Blasting/Sandblasting/Peening): General abrasive blasting of section steel, ship plates, and other steel components to achieve desired surface finishes.
