The product (HG-CohesivePro 4004) is a solution of polyester alkyl ammonium salt, which is silicone-free and contains neutralized acid groups. The product is designed to be used as a adhesion promoter for aqueous and solvent-borne coatings to improve their adhesion to metallic substrates such as steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and also to glass. Applicable coatings include can coatings, coil coatings, industrial coatings and protective coatings.

Depending on the purpose of use, the product is added to the coating formulation at 1-4% level based on the total formulation. The product can be added at any stage of coating production under general shear force conditions. In multi-layer systems, HG-CohesivePro 4004 should be added to the paint directly applied to the substrate.
