The product (HG-CohesivePro 4007) is a solution of copolymer with functional groups (trade secret). It is a polymeric adhesion promoter for solvent-free and solvent-borne (including high solid) coatings to improve their adhesion on various metals (e.g. steel, galvanized steel, aluminum) as well as glass. HG-CohesivePro 4007 is recommended for industrial coatings and protective coatings based on two-pack epoxy resin systems and baking system (e.g. alkyd/melamine, acrylate/melamine).

Depending on the purpose of use, the product is added to the coating formulation at 1-5% level based on the total formulation. In a two-component epoxy system, the product must be added to the hardener agent component or mixed with the hardener agent before construction. In the baking system, the product is added to finished coating under stirring conditions.

The product is hygroscopic and needs to be stored in a dry environment. It is recommended to store and transport at temperatures below 40 °C.
