Product Description

The product (HG-CohesivePro 4006) is a solution of aminofunctional polyether. The product is designed to be used as a adhesion promoter for solvent-borne coatings to improve their adhesion to metallic substrates, particularly metal substrates that are pre-treated in a chromate-free manner. Applicable coatings include industrial coatings and coil coatings.

In coil coatings, it can improve adhesion after water immersion tests and forming processes such as deep calendering and T-bending, and also can improve corrosion resistance.

Application Methods

Depending on the purpose of use, the product is added to the coating formulation at 1-4% level based on the total formulation. The product can be added at any stage of paint production by medium shear force.
